The University of Alabama Health Services Foundation is recruiting for an Assistant or Associate Professor level Pediatric Pulmonologist to join the clinical faculty based at North Alabama Children’s Specialists Clinic location operated by Children's of Alabama in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine
Position Specifics
North Alabama Children's Specialist Clinic
North Alabama Children’s Specialists was established in 1994. Our practice is home to two pediatric pulmonary specialists and one pediatric neurology specialist. In addition, pediatric specialists in the field of adult congenital heart disease, pediatric rheumatology, pediatric general surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric gastroenterology hold monthly clinics in our office.
Physicians and other clinical faculty candidates who will be employed by the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation (UAHSF) or other UAB Medicine entities, must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

The Pediatric Pulmonary division at UAB is a leader in all facets of academic medicine including care, education, and research. It includes 15 faculty members and nearly 85 divisional personnel dedicated to advancing our understanding and treatment of pediatric pulmonary disorders.
